Purpose of the role

You’ll own the end-to-end functional vision and delivery for large, complex Power Platform / D365 CE programmes, providing leadership, continuity, and confidence to both clients and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• · Own the functional vision from pre-sales through delivery.
• · Lead and facilitate:
• · Key client workshops
• · Functional design and decision-making forums
• · Trade-off and prioritisation discussions
• · Translate complex business needs into coherent, scalable functional designs.
• · Provide continuity and narrative across multi-phase, multi-team programmes.
• · Guide, mentor, and delegate effectively to Senior and Intermediate Functionals.
• · Act as the functional escalation and decision authority.
• · Champion platform best practice and out-of-the-box first design principles.
• · Work closely with architects, delivery leads, and technical leads to ensure cohesive outcomes.

Your efforts will ensure that clients clearly understand and trust the solution vision and approach; functional design remains consistent across long-running, complex programmes; delivery teams are aligned, supported, and making sound design decisions and large engagements have robust functional leadership.

• · Strong BA foundation combined with deep functional expertise
• · Excellent communication and story-teller attributes; confidence with senior stakeholders.
• · Comfortable operating at both strategic and detailed levels

• · Deep understanding of the platform, without needing to be hands-on every day
